Because I was home schooled as a student, I know that home schooling can offer students a freedom and quality that many public and private schools cannot. Being home schooled prepared me for later academic achievement by demonstrating the importance of learning over memorizing. While other teachers rewarded me for regurgitation, my mother, Magistra Dior, always rewarded me for intelligent thought. This early focus on critical thinking launched me over the heads of many of my peers and gave me an early advantage that has lasted even into graduate school. I know that my mother and I can do the same for your students, whether they are schooled at home, privately, or publicly.
